  • We have tried again with creating a forum where parents, caretakers, teachers, providers, individuals with autism, and other interested parties may participate in discussions related to autism.  This one requires the moderator to accept individuals into the forum to help with privacy issues.  PLEASE ... Please ... try this out, make suggestions ... it is still a work in progress.
  • Free stories for children. Join Frederick the  Fidgety Fire Truck and Arthur the Angry Engine as they learn concrete strategies to deal with anger and self-regulation/impulse control.

  • The Autism Spectrum Support Group now has a lending library. Located within the Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church library, we have a dedicated shelf of books pertaining to autism, Asperger's, various therapies, etc.  You do not have to be a member of Mt. Bethel to borrow materials.  The library is always open before and after our monthly meetings.
Also, if you have books that were helpful to you during your journey through Autism and/or Asperger's, please consider donating them to our lending library. Just drop them off in the librarian's chair with a note that you are donating them for the support group. One new video and two new books have already arrived, compliments of Mt. Bethel UMC.  If you have a wonderful book that you cannot bear to part with, please tell us the title and author and we'll find someone to donate a copy of it.

You can visit the website at http://www.mtbethel.org/menu3102/Building-B
for directions to the library (it's located in Building B).

  • We have added some humor to our website for your enjoyment!
